New Zealand poised to ban plastic bags
May 30, 2019
From July 1, New Zealand will ban single-use plastic bags.
The comprehensive ban in New Zealand includes biodegradable and compostable bags, with the New Zealand Government recognising that these bags are not easily composted, and so are also contributing to landfill.
Retailers are moving away from plastic in preparation for the ban – with paper proving to be a strong and sustainable alternative.
Offering strength, reusability and recyclability, our paper carry bags offer a sustainable packaging alternative that doesn’t contribute to landfill.
With custom print capabilities, or choices in either coloured bags or bags with a design, such as our Matilda Bag, a range of sustainable options are available.
